Mrs. Frances Jeanette Haigler, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Manvel, Texas at the home she shared with her son and daughter-in-law.  Born 11/12/1940 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Richard Monroe Yarborough and Billie Frances Parker. She was known for her gentle spirit, encouraging nature, subtle resiliency, and joie de vivre. She loved her church, watching television, good fellowship, animals, and good food. She was always up for a new adventure. She worked in textiles prior to becoming a full-time homemaker. She cherished her family and friends. She exhibited genuine faith in her savior, Jesus Christ, and is rejoicing with Him today. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 2011, as well as parents, aunt and uncle.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frances will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Austin Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 in the church fellowship building.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Dr. Richard Haigler (Cheryl) of Manvel, TX; daughter, Sandy Haigler Carwile (Richard) of Bloomfield, KY; grandchildren, Parker Carwile (Paulette) of Lexington, KY, Vivian Carwile of Louisville, KY, Anna Claire Carwile of Bloomfield, KY and Caroline Carwile of Bloomfield, KY; sister, Vickie Steele of Macon, GA; brother, David Howard of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Tracy Starling of Macon, GA; cousins, James Finigan of Vero Beach, FL and Michael Finigan of Rockport, Mass.
