Mrs. Frances Tarlton Thomas, 92, passed away May 6, 2022 at Haven Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida. Born April 26, 1930 in Union County, NC, she was a daughter of Blair Tarlton and Flonnie Godwin Tarlton.

A funeral to celebrate the life of Frances will be 3pm Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 in the church's lunch room.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by sons, Randy Thomas (Cynthia) of Jacksonville, Fla., Jerry Thomas (Kay) of Brunswick, GA and Alan Thomas (Angie) of Fernadina Beach, Florida; grandchildren; Christopher Thomas, Erica Thomas, Vann Thomas, Blake Thomas, Adam Thomas, Josh Thomas and Ashley Thomas. Great Grandchildren Madison Thomas and Shae Thomas.
