Marshville- Mrs. Frances G. Tyler 75, passed away on September the 5th, 2017 at CMC Union. She was born in Anson County on March the 6th, 1942 to the late James and Emma Bryant Gathings. She retired from Mecklenburg County Schools and J.C. Penney in Monroe and Charlotte.
Funeral Services will be 12pm Saturday the 9th of September, 2017 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-11:45am on Saturday.
She is survived by her husband Mr. David Tyler of Marshville. Two sons: Bryan A. Tyler and his wife Karen of Camden, SC., and Stephen E. Tyler of Charlotte. Two grandchildren: Adrienne O. Tyler and Jacob A. Tyler. Great-grandson Aiden C. Tyler. Brothers: James Gathings and his wife Mary, and Ralph Gathings all of Wadesboro. Sisters: Louise G. Hinson of Rockingham, Peggy G. Butts and her husband Tom of Wingate.
