Monroe- Mr. Gary R. Johnson, 66, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Hospice in Union County. Born August 28, 1950 in Anson County, he was a son of the late John David and Georgia Gaddy Johnson.  He was a retired mechanic and truck driver.

Memorial Services will be 6 PM Sunday at Mineral Springs Baptist Church.  Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship building.

Gary is survived by his wife Pam S. Johnson of Monroe.  Step-son Mr. Chad Rogers and his wife Melissa of Matthews.  Three step-granddaughters: Dela Rogers, Maya Rogers and Chloe Rogers.  His brothers: Billy Johnson, John Johnson, Jr., and Ricky Dale Johnson and his wife Susan all of Peachland.  Four sisters: Betty Faye Johnson, Elaine Hilliard and her husband Charles, Debbie Melton and her husband Harold, and Angela Johnson all of Peachland.
