Mr. Glenn Phifer, 87, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Hospice House in Monroe.  Born August 29, 1936 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Carl Bascom Phifer and Emma Austin Phifer.  He was also preceded in death by his spouse of 67 years, Nadine earlier last month.

Glenn was a lifetime member of Deep Springs Baptist Church, he loved farming, horses and livestock. He was on the board of directors for the Farm Bureau 25+ years.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Glenn will be 10 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Deep Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following by the gravesite.

Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Charles Phifer, Dennis Phifer (Becky) and Carlton Phifer (Kristi); grandchildren, Amanda and Leanna Phifer, Hunter and Dylan Phifer and Rylan Phifer; sister, Diane Tucker (Conrad)
