Dr. John G. Griffin, "Greg", 63, of Little River, SC, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 3, 2021. Born on July 17, 1958, in Monroe, NC, he was the son of the late John and Norma Griffin.

Dr. Griffin owned J. Greg Griffin D.D.S. in Marshville, NC for twenty-one years where he practiced dentistry. He also practiced at Affordable Dentures in Rockingham, NC for eight years. Greg was well-known and loved by his family, his friends, and his patients. Dr. Griffin was also a pilot. He enjoyed flying, boating, fishing, golfing, and motorcycling.

Survivors include his loving wife of six years, Leslie Griffin; step-sons, Jason Coakley, Brian Lee, and Danny Lee; sisters; Judy Stegall, Gail Rushing (Eric), and Norma Carpenter.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Marshville - 1636 Old Hwy 74 Marshville, NC 28103. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM.
