Marshville- Harold C. Gillespie 81, passed away Thursday the 25th of January, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Transylvania County, NC to the Floyd Stanley and Venice Rogers Gillespie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a Maintenance Technician with Eckerd Drugs.
Memorial Services will be 2pm Monday the 29th of January, 2018 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Nancy H. Gillespie. His two sons: Mr. Brian Gillespie and his wife Teresa of Mint Hill and Mr. Phillip Gillespie of Pompano Beach, Florida. His siblings: Mr. Charles "Chuck" Stanley and his wife Linda of Salisbury, NC and Mrs. Margaret Jones of Pleasant Garden, NC. Grandchildren: Christopher Gillespie, Michael Gillespie and Joshua Gillespie. Great-grandchildren: Jasmine, Makensie, Marley, Alan, Elizabeth, Makayla, Lillian (Lilly).
