Marshville – Helen Smith Bradshaw, 87, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Jesse Helms Center in Monroe. Born January 26, 1928 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late John Cleveland Smith and Kate Hinson Smith Marze. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Frank Smith.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning at 10 am from the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends following by the graveside.

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Williams of Monroe and Wanda Walters of Little River, SC; sisters, Johnnie Hargett and her husband Bobby of Marshville and Alice Hull and her husband Floyd of Charlotte; a grandchild, Regina Jaynes; two great grandchildren, Caison and Cameron Jaynes;

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Jesse Helms Nursing Center for the care and compassion given during her stay there.
