Mr. Herbert Traywick, 96, of Marshville, died July 24, 2019 at Autumn Care in Marshville. Born May 25, 1923 in Leon County, Florida, he was a son of the late Conley and Ada Brewer Traywick. He was preceded in death his loving wife, Grace Tarlton Traywick and his sister Annie Lee Traywick.
A funeral service for Herbert will be held 11 AM Friday, July 26, 2019 at New Home Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 -10:45 on Friday in the church fellowship building.
Mr. Traywick is survived by three daughters, Marie Lathan of Oakboro, NC, Lorraine T. Finch of Greensboro, NC and Marti T. Strickland; grandchildren, Matthew Lathan, Karen Young, David Finch and Scott Grubb; 5 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the loving care and compassion of the Autumn Care Nursing Home.
