Mr.  Herman Lee Medlin, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home.  Born September 1, 1929, in Union County, he was a son of the late George Washington Medlin and Ester Helms Medlin.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Mercile, in June of this year and many siblings.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Herman will be 11 AM Friday, October 18, 2024, from the graveside of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends following by the graveside.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughters, Sandra Medlin and Pam Briles and her partner Lisa Bell; grandchildren, Amber Flint (Caleb), Daniel Horne, Jennifer Osborne (James); great grandchildren: Isabella and Jamie Osborne; sisters, Linda Yow (Lewis) and Mary Ellen Simpson
