Marshville – Mr. Hildreth Almond Smith, 91 died Monday, January 13, 2020 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. Born May 5, 1928 in Union County, NC, he was a son of the late James Smith and Estelle Almond Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy T. Smith, brother, Bill Smith and sisters, Clara Smith and Carolyn McGinnis.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Gazebo of Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Smith of Salisbury; grandson, Matthew D. Smith of Greensboro; granddaughter, Carrie Smith of Monroe; brothers, Joel Smith of Jonesville, NC, Larry Smith of Locust; sisters, Maxine Nance of Charlotte and Mary Charles Edwards of Columbia, SC; 4 great grandchildren.
