Marshville – Mrs. Inez Treadaway, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Hospice House in Monroe.  Born August 22, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Roy Reid McAlpine and Dorothy Bradshaw Plyler. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy McAlpine and sister, Brenda Carpenter.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Inez will be 11AM Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from East Campus – First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, (6140 West Marshville Blvd., Marshville, NC  28103) with burial to follow in the Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 in the church foyer.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 63 years, Fred Treadaway; sons, Johnny Treadaway (Christina) and Freddy Treadaway, Jr. (Sheila); daughter, Teresa Jones; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
