Dateline – Wingate

Mr. Jack Garland Ryan, Sr., 77, passed away Sunday morning at his daughter's home.  Born August 24, 1943 in Union County, he was the son of the late Jack Ryan and Helen Faye Thompson.  He was a long-haul truck driver for 30 plus years.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jack will be 11AM Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Morgan and Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 at the funeral home on Wednesday morning.

Mr. Ryan is survived by his former wife of 47 years, Beulah Ryan; son, Jack Ryan, Jr. (Elaine) and a daughter, Renee Ryan-Hendricks (JT); 3 grandchildren, Jack "Gary" Ryan III, Alexandra "Xan" Caldwell (Joseph) and Sara Hendricks; great grandson, Jack "AJ" Ryan and a great grandchild on the way; brother, Robert Elkins; and many cousins, friends and extended family.

The family suggests memorials be made to New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, 5359 Eubanks Road, Jefferson, SC 29718.
