Dateline - Wadesboro James Everette "Skeetce" Thomas, 62, of Wadesboro died April 27, 2014 at Anson Community Hospital. Born March 12, 1952 in Union County, he was a son of Evelyn T. Thomas and the late James Brady Thomas, Jr. A memorial service to celebrate the life of James will be held Thursday at 7 pm from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. In addition to his mother, he survived by his son, Chad Thomas and his wife Reina of Monroe; daughter, Amy Wiles and her husband Dave of Marshville; sister, Wanda Staton and her husband Carroll of Marshville; 4 grandchildren, Josh, David and Payton Wiles, Jamie Thomas. The family suggests memorials to the charity on the donor's choice. Morgan & Son is serving the family of Mr. Thomas.
