Monroe – Mrs. Jane High Whitley Morgan, 77, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Monroe.  Born March 1, 1945 in Norfolk County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Okey John High and Verla Huggins High.

Mom loved to take trips with her sisters, dance to 50's music, listen to her brother's numerous jokes and cherished times spent with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jane will be held 3 PM, Friday, September, 16, 2022 from the graveside of Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service by the grave.

Those left to cherish Jane's memory include daughters, Suzette Porter (Dave) and Beth Hudson; grandchildren, Cameron Bramhall, Olivia Porter, Zoey Hudson and Josh Hudson; brother, Richard High; sisters, Sandy Collins, Janet Feidler and Martha Hinson.
