Mrs. Jeannie G. Griffin 80 of Polkton, NC went from her home peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 27, 2021. Precious is the sight of the Lord at the death of a Saint, Psalms 116:15.
Jeannie after her 11th grade went to Wingate College graduating early in order to attend Presbyterian School of Nursing and earned a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Then at age 45 she returned to college at Stanly Community College and earned her ADN as a Registered Nurse. She worked in various areas of nursing; labor and delivery, private care, home care, surgical, correctional Institute, but her favorite of all was Hospice. Jeannie was a true caregiver at heart, often sitting with the sick or injured just to give their families a break or taking elderly to the doctors and patching up scrapes and cuts.
Jeannie was born September 12,1941 in Anson County to the late JR "Bob" Glenn and Margaret Griffin Glenn. She was long time member of Grace Fellowship Church in Indian Trail, who with all members held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her 3 children, Jeff Griffin (Debbie), Mike Griffin, Lisa Griffin Haithcock (Mike); grandchildren, Nikolas Griffin ( Jessica), Emily Hasty (JR), Emsley Griffin (Bobbie Ann), Kolby Haithcock, Kacy Haithcock, Kassidy Haithcock; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Lenette Glass (George) and MaryAnne Jones (Wayne); nieces, nephews and her special cousins.
Jeannie enjoyed listening to BBN every morning, watching crime stories, reading her Bible, visitors, Wendy's frosty and Chocolate.
The family will host a memorial service to celebrating her life on Sunday October 31,2021 at Grace Fellowship Church, 2151 Wesley Chapel Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079. Visitation starting at 2 pm and service at 3:30 pm. Burial will be private.

A special thanks to her caregivers Carolyn Allen, Crystal Morton, Kassidy Haithcock for their kindness and care and to the faithfulness of her church for all the visits and meals
