Marshville - Mr. Jeffery Lane Mullis, 66, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Hospice House in Monroe.  Born September 19, 1959, in Union County, he was a son of the late Floyd Mullis and Ailene Philemon Mullis.  He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Johnny Helms, nephews, Chris Helms, Michael Helms and Greg Mullis.

He was a poultry farmer, welder and loved his Harley.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jeff will be 2 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from Morgan & Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon – 1:30 on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years Lisa Madill Mullis; sisters, Judy Helms, Terri Cordell (Tommy) and Sandra Mullis, brother, Kenny Mullis (Janet); numerous nieces and nephews.
