Indian Land, SC – Mr. Jeffery Allen Lingerfelt, 62, died Saturday at Atrium Health – Pineville.  Born June 1, 1958 in Mecklenburg County, he was a son of the late James Leroy Lingerfelt and Jennie Smith. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Locklair.  He was a member of Sandhills Cowboy Church.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jeffery will be 1 PM Thursday, February 25, 2021 from the graveside of Crown Memorial Park, 9620 Rodney Street, Pineville, NC 28134.

During these times of limiting the numbers for social gatherings, the family respects your concerns of avoiding crowds, so they welcome you to stop by the funeral home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 1 pm until 3 pm to pay your respects.  The family will not be present.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sharon Smith Lingerfelt; sons, Jason Lingerfelt (Ashley), Josh Lingerfelt (Jennifer), James Derrick Lingerfelt; sisters, Trudy Penley and Angela Plaisted; brothers, Ricky Locklair and Roger Lingerfelt; 10 grandchildren, Alexis Tsiukes (Roman), Ricky Taylor, Austin, Katelynn, Tiffany, Haylie, Phoenix, Jolene, Cash, and Maverick Lingerfelt; great grandchild, Amelia Rose Tsiukes.
