Marshville- Mr. Jerry M. Jerome 77, passed away on September the 7th, 2019 at Atrium Health-Union. He was born on November the 12th, 1941 to Rufus and Grace Porter Jerome. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two wives: Mrs. Willie Pearl Jerome and Mrs. Effie Lou Jerome and two siblings: Judy Jerome and Johnny Jerome. Jerry was the retired owner of Jerome Well Drilling and was a veteran of the US Army.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Friday, September 13, 2019 at Union Grove Baptist Church. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends immediately following the interment.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Mrs. Grace Porter Jerome of Peachland. He is survived by his children: Mrs. Jerree Earl and her husband Clifford III of Ft. Myers, FL., Mr. Jeffery Miles and his wife Donna of Gresham, SC., and Mrs. Aimee Parrish and her husband John of Porterdale, GA. Four sisters: Mrs. Patricia Ritt of Conway, SC, Mrs. Jean Davis of Forest City, NC., Mrs. Mildred Wellons of Peachland, and Mrs. Brenda Airington and her husband Bruce of Badin, NC. Grandchildren: Mr. Clifford IV and his wife Maranda of Cape Coral FL., Mrs. Stephanie Radford and her husband Jason of Bartow, FL., Stacy Earl of Ft. Myers, FL., Jennifer Cook of Marshville, and Zacchaeus Miles of Monroe. Great-grandchildren: Aimee Grace, Jonathan, Aubrey, Shelby, Allyson, and Logan.
