Mr. Jerry W. McCurry, Sr. 78, passed away on May the 24th, 2019 at Autumn Care of Marshville. He was born in Rutherford County, NC to the late James Thad and Vina Mae Rich McCurry. Mr. McCurry was the retired owner of a convenience store in Lincolnton, NC. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Norris Ray McCurry and Mr. Max McCurry.
Memorial Services will be 11am Saturday the 1st of June, 2019 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by four children: Mr. Cliff McLain and his wife Melody of Monroe, Mr. Ricky McLain and his wife Mary of Marshville, Mrs. Cindy Laney and her husband Robert of Monroe and Mr. Jerry McCurry, Jr. and his wife Diane also of Marshville. Two brothers: Mr. James McCurry and his wife Judy of Lincolnton and Mr. Steve McCurry and his wife Wilma of Jacksonville, Fla. 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive him.
