Jerry Michael Meachum, 64, of Wadesboro, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Hospice House in Monroe. Born May 30, 1950 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Cecil Thomas and Naomi Helms Meachum. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Nancy Treadaway, Betty Lou Funderburke, Joyce Henry, Louise Bowman, Debbie Runsey, Linda Funderburke, Martha Henry and Lisa Bowers.
A celebration of Life service will be 2 pm Sunday at Faith Baptist Church, 3520 Stanback Ferry-Ice Plant Road, Wadesboro, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Meachum is survived by his wife, Debbie R. Meachum of Wadesboro; daughters, Sherry Outen of Monroe, Deanna Hildreth of Polkton and Amy Steele and her husband Bivens of Marshville; brother, Cecil Thomas Meachum, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Wadesboro; sister, Helen Sellers and her husband Fred of Lilesville; grandchildren, Megan Labozetta, Gregory Labozetta, Jr., Gavin Johnson and Leigha Steele.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Faith Baptist Church.
