Wingate - Mr. Jesse Boyce Langston, 43 passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at his home.  Born April 10, 1981, in Union County, he was a son of Jeannie Langston and the late Jimmy Langston.

Jesse was an inspector with Union County Building Code Enforcement since 2012. His work helped ensure the safety of Union County residents and businesses alike. Prior to this, he was a commercial building superintendent for Godfrey Construction for 12 years. He was an avid knife and coin collector, who enjoyed playing the guitar and spent his spare time restoring his 1968 Chevrolet C-10, but the biggest love of his life was his family.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jesse will be 3 PM Friday, September 20, 2024, at Midway Baptist Church, in the old sanctuary, 4615 Olive Branch Road, Wingate, NC  28174, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:45 in the family life center.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife April Langston; children, Savannah and Jared Langston; brother, Clinton Langston; many cousins, aunts and uncles.
