Mr. Jim Tucker, Sr., passed away March the 4th, 2016 at Hospice House of Union County. He was born on December the 14th, 1922 to the late George Oscar and Faire Little Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Griffin Tucker. Jim was a US Navy veteran of WWII and a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service.
Memorial Services will be 3pm Sunday the 6th of March, 2016 at Wingate Baptist Church. Visitation will follow the Service. Graveside Services will precede the Memorial Service at 2pm Sunday at Marshville City Cemetery.
He is survived by his son Mr. Jimmy Tucker and his wife Jane of Marshville, two daughters: Anna Faire Rupard and her husband Tony of Oak Ridge, NC and Ginger Tucker of Marshville.
