Marshville - Mr. Jimmy Langston, 60, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.  Born December 22, 1959 in Florence, SC he was a son of the late I.D. Langston and Delores Ann McKay.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Langston Stegall.

Jimmy was retired from Union Power after 31 years of service and was owner/operator of Langston Gun and Pawn in Wingate.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jimmy will be 1 PM Tuesday at Midway Baptist Church, 4615 Olive Branch Rd, Wingate, NC 28174.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service by the graveside. Due to Covid19, please exercise state restrictions while at the service.

Mr. Langston is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jeannie Langston; sons, Jesse Langston and his wife April of Wingate and Clinton Langston of Marshville; grandchildren, Savannah and Jared Langston; sister Wanda Langston Warren of Darlington, SC; brother, Jerry Langston of Marshville; several nieces and nephews.
