Mr. Jimmy Wayne Moore, 76, died Monday at his home. Born July 21, 1941 in Union County, he was a son of the late Billy Wayne Moore and Ruth Stegall Moore. He was also preceded in death by a son Freddie Moore.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jimmy will be 11 AM Thursday at the Philadelphia Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the church.
Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances Myers Moore; daughters, Debbie Moore of Marshville and Kay Moore Webb and her husband Steve of Holden Beach, NC; son, Reggie Moore and his wife Wendy of Marshville; grandchildren, Derrick (Carly) Moore, Brandy Stevenson, Kelli (Patrick) Funderburk, Matt (Barbara) Jenkins, Ryan (Terrin) Moore, Mattthew Moore, Bradley Moore, Kayne Severson and Gage Webb, 9 great grandchildren, Sister, Phyllis Hunter and her husband Wade of Marshville.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Moore.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Philadelphia Baptist Church, 5709 Philadelphia Church Road, Marshville, NC.
