Marshville - Mr. Jimmy Lee Purser, 65 passed away September 26, 2014 at CMC Union. He was born in Union County NC on February 25, 1949. His parents were the late John Huey Purser and Carl Lee and Odell Nance Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Jenkins Purser. Jimmy was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War.
Graveside Services will be 2pm Tuesday at Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 7pm-8:30pm Monday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
He is survived by three daughters: Michelle P. Smith and her husband Danny , Anjeanette P. Horne and her husband Chris and Gretchen P. Sims and her husband Chad all of Marshville. one brother, Mr. Jerry Jackson of Spruce Pine, NC. 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
