On Monday August 19, 2019 our beloved son, Joe Douglas Little II, went to his Heavenly Home. He was born October 10, 1975 in Union County to Joe and Marty Little of Marshville, N.C. In addition to his parents, Joe leaves behind two loving sisters: Sherry Little McManus and her husband Michael of Unionville, N.C. and Wendy Baucom and her husband Brian of New Salem, N.C. He also leaves behind the love of his life, soul mate and best friend, Janie Knight and their children Avery and Jocelyn Little of Oakboro - He loved them more than life. In addition to his children he also cherished Janie's son Caleb Correa of New York. Joe is also survived by six nephews: Jason Lemon and his wife Elana, James Lemon, Josua Lemon, Dillon Baucom and his fiancé Hanna, Cameron Baucom and Payton Baucom.
Joe was employed with Lee Electric of Aberdeen where he loved and excelled in his work. Joe loved spending time with his fiancé and their two beautiful children. Joe's best friend was his daddy. They went everywhere together and enjoyed spending time in the shop working on vehicles. He also loved his Sunday School class at Austin Grove Baptist Church. And…he loved his Mama's "Legendary" sweat tea.
Memorial Services will be 4pm Sunday the 25th of August, 2019 at Austin Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be in the church sanctuary from 2:30pm until 3:45pm the same day as the service.
