Joe Taylor, age 86, of Clemmons, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Taylor and Bertha Helms Taylor, and brother, Talmadge Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army
Funeral Services will be 3pm Thursday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wightman United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Allen Taylor, his daughters Sandy (Jim) Johnson and Robyn (Adam) Thomas, his beloved grandchildren Jimmy Johnson, Katie Johnson, Gabriel Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, Awna Thomas, and Grey Thomas, his brother, Truby Taylor, his sister Betty (Arnold) Smith, and many special neices and nephews.
