Obituary

Mr.  John Frank Caudle, 71, woke up in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 26, 2023.  Born April 25, 1952 in Anson County, he was a son of the late William Henry Caudle and Mary Louise Ross Caudle.  John was preceded in death by his brother, William Nelson Caudle.

John was a Godly man who attended Union Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and faithful choir member.  He was a quiet loving husband, father, Papa and Uncle.  He was a farmer at heart, who enjoyed "tinkering" with his old Farmall tractor, but he also enjoyed driving a new John Deere.  He enjoyed a good road trip, or watching a good episode of Bonanza, The Rifle Man, or Gunsmoke and time spent with his loved ones, especially his precious little granddaughters, Maggie and Molly (His M & M's).

John worked for Thomas Gas Company, Edwards Propane, Heritage Gas, and Marshville Propane.  In his young days at Thomas Gas Company, he often put gas in for elderly because they needed it, and just "forgot" to record it.  He also raised chickens for Tyson, and helped "his boys farm".

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Flo Thomas Caudle; sons, John Robert "Moose" Caudle and Jamie Caudle (Christy); brothers, Bobby Caudle (Kathy), Jerry Caudle (Eldis), Charles Caudle (Debra) and sister-in-law, Cornelia Caudle; his granddaughters, Maggie and Molly Caudle and Kaylee Wess. His Princesses, Renee Knepp and Eva Grace Knepp and the Prince Elijah Knepp; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A special thanks to Dr. M. Kreshon, Dr. T. Brand and their staff for the excellent care they provided for John.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of John will be 11 AM, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Union Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-7 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home
