Mr. Johnny Eugene Mills, 72 of Marshville passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at Atrium Health – Union.  Born April 7, 1953 in Union County, he was the son of the late Clinton Woodrow Mills and Gladys Hilton Mills.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Tondi Griffin Mills.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Johnny will be 12 noon, Thursday, August 21, 2025, from the graveside of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-6:30 at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Tyler Mills (Charlotte); daughter, Morgan M. Benton (Chase), grandchildren, Bo, Lane, Cole: siblings, Brenda Deese, Barbara Ross, Francis Mills; several nieces and nephews.
