Marshville – Mrs. Joyce Eades Bull, 94, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe.  Born August 27, 1928 in Stewart County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Elma Eades.  She was also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Charles Eades, husbands, Thomas Fordham Meggs, Hubert Helms and Melvin Bull.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Joyce will be 11 AM Friday, January 6, 2023 from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 on Friday in the church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Wanda Baucom (Devon), Gwendolyn Cain (Aubrey) and Ira Meggs (Janice), 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; special friend, Christine Scott.

The family is grateful for the loving care Joyce received while at the Jesse Helms Nursing Center for the last 3 years.
