Mrs. Kathryn Knight Overcash went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 3, 2025. Born June 15, 1937, in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew Knight and Ella Rollings Cox.  She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Overcash.

Funeral Services will be private.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Melody Hoyle (Jonathan); grandchildren, Kayla Perry (Will), Madison Fields (Cam), Gavin Hoyle and Garrett Hoyle; great-grandchildren, Hayden Little, Layla Jane Perry, Ellie Mae Fields, Cooper Fields.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Austin Grove Baptist Church, 5919 Austin Grove Church Road, Marshville, NC.
