Peachland- Mrs. Kathy E. Cannon 62, passed away on April the 29th, 2018 at CMC Union. She was born in Union County on June the 23rd, 1955 to the late Melvin Earl and Sarah Kathryn Edwards. She was Co-founder of C&E Cleaning & Janitorial Service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Mr. Michael Edwards.
Graveside Services will be 11am Thursday in Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.
She is survived by her husband Mr. Dennis L. Cannon of Peachland. Two sons: Mr. Chris Jenkins and his wife Tammy of Wingate and Mr. Johnny Jenkins and his wife Ginger of Statesville. Her brothers: Mr. Melvin Edwards of Polkton, Mr. Randy Edwards of Lancaster, SC, Terry Edwards of Concord, and Mr. Jeff Edwards of Tabor City. Her sisters: Linda E. Wortman of Concord, Deborah E. Burgess of Wadesboro, Robin E. Watts of Dillon, SC, and Tracy E. Strawn of Myrtle Beach, SC. Grandchildren: Hailee Jenkins of Peachland and Katelynn Jenkins of Statesville. Great-grandchildren: Leland Jenkins, Jaxson Wright and Kase Wright.
