Waxhaw – Mr. Kenneth Lamar Quates, 72, formerly of Marshville, died Friday, February 5, 2021 at his home.  Born April 24, 1948 in Union County, NC, he was a son of the late Otis H. and Georgia Helms Quates.

Funeral services will be private.

Survivors are his sons, Ronnie and David Quates; daughters, Jennifer and Carrie Quates; brother, Michael Chris Quates and his wife Vanessa.
