Mrs. Kim Renee Smith, 58, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024.  Born December 29, 1965, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Dave Smith and Linda Rushing Smith.

Kim loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Gardening was one of her favorite activities, she especially loved growing Lillies. She enjoyed cleaning and worked doing so for many years. You were sure to be met with a smile and a sweet laugh. She lived simply and family was her main focus and her greatest love. She didn't meet a stranger but have given one the shirt from her back. To know her was to know the purest of love.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kim will be 11 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from the graveside of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following by the graveside.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Chad Rushing; daughter, Kayla Rushing; siblings, Gail Crump (Mike), Lee Smith (Alechia) and Doug Smith; grandchildren, Korbin, Grayson and Brooklyn; numerous nieces and nephews.
