Peachland – Mr. Charles Lamar Thomas, 71, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Autumn Care in Marshville. Born December 10, 1943 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Charlie B. and Frances Mae Ferree Thomas. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Carol Motley, Geraldine Barton and Graham Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, March 16, 2015 at Hopewell United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside in the fellowship building.
Survivors include a son, Charles Lamar "Chip" Thomas, Jr. of Charlotte; daughter Cindy Thomas Campbell of Fort Mill; brother, Alton Douglas Thomas of Peachland; three grandchildren.
