Mr. Larry Wayne Philemon, 78, passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Monroe. Born November 14, 1947, in Union County he was the son of the late Tommy Reno Philemon and Joyce Brooks Philemon. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Rebecca and siblings, Dale Philemon.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Larry will be 11 AM, Friday, November 13, 2026, at Morgan & Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 at the funeral home.
Those left to cherish his memory include sons, Jeff Philemon (Michelle), Jeremy Philemon (Malia), grandchildren, Colin, Garret, Khloe and Austin; siblings, Dwight Philemon (Margie) and Joyce Ann Preslar (Mitchell).
