Mrs. Lena Stegall, of Marshville died May 31, 2016 at her home. Born December 23, 1915 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Benton Myles and Julia Caroline Edwards Howard. She was married to the late Cecil C. Stegall for 72 ½ years. She was the 11th child born into the family of 14 children. She was preceded by five brothers, Lee, Clayton, Hugh, Arthur and Roy and sisters, Ola Brooks, Bessie Baucom, Emma Poplin, Cropsie Napier, Ona Baucom, Lucy Napier and Letha Cox
Funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Olive Branch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Nick Stegall and his wife Ruth of Marshville, grandchildren, Perry Stegall and wife Connie, Nikki Davis and her husband Derek and Walter Stegall; sister, Eltis Bradshaw of Tabb, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family request in honor of Mrs. Lena that ladies attending are welcome to wear church hats.
