Wingate, NC - Mr. Leo Milton Edwards, 89, died August 15, 2014 at the Autumn Care in Marshville. Born September 14, 1924, he was a son of the late Omester and Ethel Smith Edwards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Edwards.
Survivors include a son, James Ronald Edwards and wife Gloria of Wingate; daughter, Karen Edwards Haigler and husband, Gerald Wayne Haigler of Fountain Inn, SC; sister, Mildred Misenheimer of Concord, NC; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM from the Faulks Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside in the church's fellowship building.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Faulks Baptist Church cemetery fund, 2234 Faulks Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
