Mrs. Linda Simpson Greene Payne, 67 of Marshville, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at her home. Born May 12, 1946 in Union County she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Dorothy Helms Simpson. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Linda will be held Thursday at 11 am from the graveside of Euto Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service by the grave. Mrs. Payne is survived by a brother Alvin Simpson of Marshville; and two nephews. The Morgan & Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Payne.
