Marshville- Lori G. Mills, 55, passed away on October the 24th, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Mecklenburg Co., on May the 1st, 1962 to Ted and Peggy Thomas Gaddy. She was a graduate of Piedmont High School as well as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. Degree in Chemistry. She retired from Anson County Schools after 29 years as a Chemistry Teacher.
She was preceded in death by her father Mr. William Ted Gaddy, her paternal grandparents Tyler and Eunice Gaddy and her maternal grandparents Lee and Maggie Lou Thomas.
Graveside Services will be 2pm Friday the 27th of October, 2017 in the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Olive Branch Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Peggy Thomas Gaddy of Marshville. Her sister Lisa Gaddy Davis and her husband Jim of Monroe. Her nieces: Krysta Davis Cearley and her husband Russ of Charlotte and Karla Elizabeth Davis of Nashville, Tn. Her great-nephew Greyson William Cearley and her great-niece Reagan Elizabeth Cearley. She is also survived by her longtime friend Terry Drye and her faithful dog "BB".
