Mrs. Lorraine Hasty Burroughs, 65 passed away on January the 14th, 2016 at Carolinas Continued Care Hospital in Charlotte. She was born in Anson County on April the 2nd, 1950 to the late Howard and Mildred Liles Hasty. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Marvin Hasty.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Sunday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Service. Interment will follow in the Peachland Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Phillips and her husband Donnie of Currie, NC. One son Dwight Burroughs, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Wadesboro. Their father Mr. Gene Burroughs. One brother Mr. Carson Hasty and his wife Vicky of Catawba, NC. Grandchildren: Amanda Kenney, Kristie Phillips, David Burroughs, Kevin Burroughs and Anna Burroughs. Great grandchildren: Brianna Kenney, Brayden Kenney, Braylee Kenney, and Laila Kelly.
