Monroe – Mrs. Louise Broadaway Taylor Shankle, 84 died Friday evening, April 3, 2015 at Autumn Care in Marshville. Born May 24, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Vann and Latte Parker Broadaway. She was also preceeded in death by siblings, Melvin Broadaway, Inez Hamiton, Mildred Caster, Ollie Alexander, Orean Martin and Lois Page.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 2 pm by the graveside of Hopewell United Methodist Church, 1715 Hopewell Church Road, Peachland, NC. Visitation will follow in the church fellowship building. Dr. Derrill Smith will officiate.
She is survived by three sons, Joel Taylor and his wife Betty, Jerry Taylor and his wife Jerrie and Dink Taylor and his wife Judy; a brother, Robert Broadaway, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
