Mrs. Lucille E. Haney 75, passed away Saturday morning, May 16, 2020 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Marshville. She was born in Union County on February 14, 1945 to the late Reece W. and Beatrice Helms Edwards. She was a retired secretary for Helms Machine Company.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon until service time on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Faulks Baptist Church Cemetery beside her late husband Harold. Due to the Covid mandates, please socially distance yourself if you plan on attending the visitation and/or service. Mrs. Haney will be open for public viewing also on Monday evening from 1-4 PM, if you would like to pay respects then.
She is survived by a son, Mr. Marcus Richard Haney and his wife April of Peachland; grandsons: Hunter, Nathan and Peyton Haney; brother Mr. Lynn Edwards and his wife Johnnie of Peachland; sisters: Susie McSwain and husband Leonidas of Peachland and Brenda Thomas and her husband Tony of Randleman NC.
