Mrs. Lucille Pingston, 93, of Marshville, passed away Monday at Autumn Care in Marshville.  Born May 8, 1928 in Union County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Gene Parsons and Ollie Rushing Parsons.  Lucille was also preceded in death by husband, Donald Pingston, daughter-in-law, Judith Pingston, siblings, Robert Parsons (Tessie), Douglas Parsons, Jackie Parsons and Michael Parsons.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lucille will be 11 AM Saturday at Fountain Hill United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 at the church.

Mrs. Pingston is survived by children, Don Pingston, Bob Pingston, Charlene Baucom (Ben)  Stephen Pingston (Karen); grandchildren, Don E. Pingston, Amy P. Franks, Ted Pingston and Katie P. Millar (Mark), Courtney B. Campbell (Verne), Tom Baucom (Kalie) and Gray Pingston; great grandchildren, Neil Franks, Luna Pingston, Perla Pingston, Camden Millar,  Braden Millar, Ezekiel Campbell, Isla Campbell, Lucille Baucom and McCoy Baucom.
