Peachland – Mrs. Lucy Lefler Sanders, 87, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Anson Health and Rehabilitation in Wadesboro, NC.  Born March 27, 1933 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late John Frank Lefler and Electa Caroline Hill Lefler.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clamon in 2014 and siblings, Jack, Rufus, Haywood and Billy Lefler, Ethel Pope, Alice Sikes, Dorothy Mills, Mary Mills, Mildred Lowder and Anne Dennis.

Funeral services will be 11AM, Monday at Morgan & Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Carmel church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10-10:45 at the funeral home.  Mrs. Lucy will be open for viewing on Sunday from 12-2 PM. The family will be at Mrs. Lucy's house on Sunday if you wish to see them there.  Due to Covid19, please exercise social distancing while at the service.

Lucy is survived by daughters, Judy Williams and her, husband Rev. Johnny Williams of Peachland and Jean Brantley and her husband, Mark Brantley of Monroe; grandchildren, Rev. Curtis Williams, LuAnn Cherry, Chris Wallace, Amy Thomas, Casie Luther, Krystal Buenrostro and Chance Brantley; and 12 great grandchildren.
