Marshville - Lynn Griffin Cheshire left this world to go Home on Sunday, December 14, 2014 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Born December 27, 1957 in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of Graham and Peggy Chance Griffin.
She touched many lives as a warrior in Christ's army. She loved leading VBS and enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach.
A funeral to celebrate the life of Lynn will be 2 pm Wednesday at Centerview Baptist Church with burial following at the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship building.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Cheshire of the home; her daughter, Tara Cheshire; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Amanda Cheshire; her grandchildren, Cameron, Katy, and Jonah Cheshire; her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Ben Jackson, and her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Pamela Griffin.
The family suggests memorials made to Hospice of Union County or Centerview Baptist Church.
