Monroe - Mrs. Marie Saad Zalaquett 82, passed away peacefully Saturday the 3 ^rd of June, 2017 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House of Huntersville.  She was born in Lebanon on April the 24 ^th , 1935 to the late Spiridon and Toufika Hadad Saad.  She was a clothing designer/seamstress and a loving mother and grand mother.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 18 ^th at 3:00 PM at Sardis Presbyterian Church, 6100 Sardis Road, Charlotte NC.

She is survived by three sons: Mr. George Zalaquett and his wife Lora of Matthews, J.P. Zalaquett and his wife Niza of Matthews and Eddie Zalaquett and his wife Wendy of Weddington.  Her grandchildren: Amanda Z. White, Maxton Zalaquett, Adam Zalaquett, John Paul Zalaquett, Evan Zalaquett and Sean Zalaquett.  Two sisters: Mona Saad Salem  and Nadia Saad.
