Mrs. Martha Alice Griffin McGee Horne, 85 of Peachland passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at Atrium Health – Union.  Born May 26, 1937 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Ferman Griffin and Gradie Wright Griffin. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Griffin and two husbands, Raymond McGee and Herman (Sonny) Horne.  She was an excellent cook, avid reader and loved to watch sports.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Martha will be 2 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from the graveside of Peachland City Cemetery.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Susan Branch; grandchildren, Tiffany Traywick and Griffin Branch; brother, Dr. Glenn Griffin (Dr. Shirley Griffin); sister, Judy G. Tucker.

The family would like to thank the staff at Anson Health & Rehabilitation for the kindness and care while she was there.
