Marshville – Mr. Martin Clay Meggs, Jr., 63, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his home.  Born August 21, 1957 in Union County, he was a son of the late Martin Clay Meggs, Sr. and Hazel Helms Meggs.

A graveside funeral service to celebrate the life of Martin will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends by the grave after the service. Due to Covid19, please exercise social distancing while at the service.

Mr. Meggs is survived by his loving wife Carol Smith Meggs; daughters, Kelly Thomas (Donny), Jamie Meggs and Megan Meggs and her fiancé Darius; 3 grandchildren, Tripp Thomas, Wade Yow and Isabelle Yow; brother, Tony Meggs.
